Little Saber Tooth Tigers

Roudy's company BBQ was on Saturday and they had all sorts of fun stuff for the kids. My kids decided they wanted to be a family of Saber Tooth Tigers.

Tagged...

I'm supposed to write 10 things you might not know about me. Here goes nothing...

1. I never had my first cavity until after I started having children. I've only had 3 cavities ever.
2. I'm an alcoholic when it comes to Pepsi. If I even have a sip, I'm hooked. There was a long time when all I drank was Pepsi- not even 1 glass of water a day. I even named my dog Pepsi hoping that would make me like her....it didn't work!
3. My kids never slept in a crib. We like them right inbetween us in bed!
4. My step mom is younger than my husband!
5. I had 3 kids in 3 1/2 years!
6. I teach the CTR 5's in Primary. That's right- I get to go to church with 3 children by myself every week and then go home and cry!
7. I shot an elk 4 years ago at 348 yards and totallly nailed him (go me!). Somebody stole my antlers out of the back of Roudy's truck so all I have is a picture to show for it. It wasn't huge, but it was a nice 6 point. :(
8. I am extremely scared of the dark. I do ok inside my house, but don't even ask me to go outside after dark by myself - I get very anxious.
9. I have an older sister that died when she was 12. She would be turning 30 this November, but the pain never goes away. I still think about her every day and wish she was here.
10. I've been married to Roudy for 49 years! (We decided before our first anniversary that we would count in dog years. It seems like we really have been married FOREVER!)
**Here's an extra one just for fun....Yes, Roudy is his real name, but conisder him lucky...His name was going to be Bucky Blue. (True Story!!)

My Favorite People

Just a few pictures I took at my cousins wedding reception. I don't have one of Jaxon by himself because I couldn't get him to stop playing football long enough to get a picture!

I don't care if Roudy is old- He's still freakin' hot! :)

Our Short (much needed) Getaway

My cousin got married yesterday in Utah, so we went a little early and took the kids to Lagoon for a few hours. They had never been there before and LOVED it.

This was Trason's pose every time he got on a ride! There was one ride that would go up high and then let the kids free fall. I went on it with the kids and it was by far the best kids ride I'd ever seen. Jaxon was hanging on for dear life and bawling and Trason was holding his hands up above his head and laughing hysterically. Since he wouldn't hold on, he kept bouncing his head off the safety bar, but he didn't care- he was not going to hold on! (Keep in mind his 6 year old brother had a death grip on the safety bar and thought his life was coming to an end!) Trason is such a dare devil- I'm scared! He will probably be the one I always have in the ER! My nice girl.
Jaxon and my little brother, Jace, having a blast!
Five hours at Lagoon was all Trason could take! The hat he has on is a baseball helmet. Roudy won one for all the kids. It was a game where if you threw a baseball 65 mph you could win a helmet or if you threw it slower you could get a blow up bat. Well, my studly husband threw it above 65 mph until they told him he'd reached his daily limit. I was very turned on. ;)

And, after 5 hours, my not so nice girl!
** So you don't think Jaxon is a complete wuss, I thought I should clarify that he only had a melt down on the free fall ride the first time he went on it. He went on it a few more times and had a blast as long as he was sitting by an adult and had a good hold on the safety bar! ;)

I Looked Out The Window & What Did I See?

I rolled out of bed this morning (at 10:00) and looked out the window. Then I crawled back in bed and cried like a baby. It's snowing here in the magnificent state of Idaho. That's right. It's June 11th and it's FREAKING SNOWING. I think I'm starting to get S.A.D.S from all this crappy weather. But then it's supposed to be in the 70's by Friday and the 80's by Saturday. What the hell? Only in Idaho.

The Show Must Go On

Jordy did the Wizard of Oz ballet on Saturday and it was so cute! She did so good. At dress rehearsal she had her back to the audience a few times, so I told her to make sure she looked at the audience and smiled and all of that good stuff. She remember what I told her and made sure to look at the audience and she was so dang cute. At intermission I went up stairs to get her so she could watch the second act and her chaperone came up to me and was like, "I'm so sorry. She fell on a chair. She cried for a long time and we had a really hard time getting her to perform. I'm so sorry." Well, needless to say, nobody could tell she was hurt and she performed perfectly! I probably should have taken her in and got a staple put in it, but I figured it would be an unnecessary, traumatic experience. Her hair will cover it up if she gets a scar, right?

Jordy in the car on her way to perform. She was SO excited! Check out those big brown eyes! It's no wonder she has Roudy and me wrapped around her finger! This was before the performance. She's such a little poser!

After the performance with all of her flowers.

Jordy Sue and her cousins Jozlyn and Haylie.

Jordy Sue Cheerleading

You might have to turn your speakers up to be able to hear her. This is a cheer she learned last summer at a cheer camp and she hasn't forgot it! Try not to pay attention to the fact that she looks like a rug rat- it is after 10:00 pm! :)

Dress Rehearsal

Jordy Sue had dress rehearsal tonight. She is going to be doing the Wizard of Oz ballet. She thinks she's in heaven because she gets to go to the stage three times this week! I'm sure I'll have more pictures after the performance Saturday night!

Have You Heard?

Has everyone heard the news? They are going to start showing Porn at the gas pumps so we can see somebody else getting screwed at the same time!

Sorry if that offended anybody, but I'm so SICK of the gas prices. Prices have gone up 4 cents just since yesterday afternoon. My tank was half empty so I topped it off and it cost me $40.00! That is rediculous. We also just canceled one of our family reunions/ camping trips due to the cost of gas. If the prices keep going up I'm not going to be able to leave my house and I'm NOT happy about it! :(

Emily- This Is Just For You!

I just thought I should let Emily know she has a competitor for the biggest Boise State Fan! Last year State Wrestling was in Boise. After Jaxon won we told him he could pick out a prize and ALL he wanted was an Ian Johnson Jersey. So, we went to the Blue and Orange store and spent WAY too much money! We ended up getting all the kids jerseys plus a couple hats. For Christmas the boys both got the whole set up- helmet, pads, jersey, & pants. I ordered Jordy a Boise State Cheerleader outfit, but it's STILL on backorder. However, she did receive her custom made blue and orange pom poms! :) We also bought the season in review DVD after Boise won the Fiesta Bowl and Jaxon has completely wore it out. He's watched that more than any Disney movie I've ever bought. He can repeat it word for word. He'll tell you "the best running back is Ian Johnson and the best quarterback for college is Jared Zabransky, but he plays for the pro's now in a Canada League. The best Pro quarterback is Brett Favre." At his age, who really cares about all that stuff?

I realize this picture would be way cuter if I could learn how to flip it. But, I kind of get a kick out of thinking of everybody turning their heads sideways... :)

Jaxon can't decide if he wants to play football or wrestle!

Jordy Sue's Boise State Jersey. I have no idea who #1 is, but it was the only # for girls!

For Christmas, Jaxon got this sweatshirt, another Jersey, and a reversible beanie that Roudy would steal if I would let him!
